A great result above expectations that saw many new clients purchase at Injemira, of particular note was the many ex- horned commercial breeders chasing Poll Genetics. Bulls sold to NSW, Vic, Qld, SA and Tasmania. In the break-up 8 sires sold for $20,000+, 32 sires $10,000-$19,000, 25 sires $7000-$9000 and 30 sires sold $4000-$6000. The notable sales included Lot 2- $26,000 ‘Tallara Holdings’ Miga Lake Vic, Lot 3- $24,000 Cascade Poll Herefords, Currabubula NSW, Lot 4- $40,000 Warragundi Beef Co, Currabubula NSW & Curracabark Herefords, Gloucester NSW, Lot 7- $22,000 ‘Tarcooma’ Hamilton Tas, Lot 45- $40,000 Jarrah Cattle Co, Rockhampton QLD, Lot 47- $22,000 Russlyn Poll Herefords Coleraine Vic, Lot 54- $20,000 Paspaley Rural Coolah NSW and Lot 57- $20,000 Glenalbyn Props Wilcannia NSW. Bulk buyers included ‘Burrayang’ Wangaratta Vic with 8 sires to average $7600 to be joined to Angus females for specialist black baldy breeding program and B James Pastoral Co with 6 bulls.
